Atelier Martínez Morón is a space for work, research and creation around architecture. A place where ideas are explored with calmness and sensitivity, where each project is built through a dialogue between place, material and the people who inhabit it.
The name atelier is not accidental. Traditionally, the atelier is a place where thinking and making happen simultaneously: a workshop space where ideas take shape through drawing, conversation, testing and time.
The atelier is born precisely with that purpose. Not only as an architecture studio, but as a space for exploration and production where projects are developed through research, material experimentation, sensitivity, attention to detail and dialogue with other creative disciplines.
The atelier’s work takes place between Seville and Madrid, addressing architectural projects, refurbishments and competitions, as well as research initiatives and creative production. Likewise, the atelier collaborates with Lococo Morón Arquitectos, from which architectural projects of different scales are developed, with sensitivity and sustainability.

Sensitivity towards place
Every project begins with attentive listening: to the context, the landscape and the stories that already exist within it. Architecture is understood as a way of continuing that dialogue, seeking to intervene with respect and precision in each place.

Care for process and detail
The project is developed as a reflective process where every decision, from the initial idea to its materialisation, is approached with attention, care and rigour. Drawing, observation and conversation are an essential part of this way of working.

Exploration and learning
The atelier is also nourished by teaching, research and exchange with other cultural contexts. Professional practice, teaching and critical reflection are constantly intertwined, allowing each project to also become an opportunity for learning.

When the time came, I began this wonderful journey of projects, models, delivery nights, and work teams that become part of your family, while at the same time presenting you with new challenges every day that inspire you, help you understand yourself better, and encourage you to keep growing as an architect and as a person. Throughout this journey, I also received a great deal of love, support, attention and care beyond the School of Architecture. My family, in its fullest expression, is partly responsible for and involved in all the challenges and achievements I have reached and continue to pursue.
The atelier could not have been named otherwise. Martínez Morón is much more than my surname; it is my story, my roots, my values, my way of seeing life and my humble gratitude.”
Graduate of the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Seville, where she received the National Award for Academic Excellence granted by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, as well as awards for best academic record granted by the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla, the University of Seville and the City Council of Seville.
Qualified architect from the European University of Madrid, after completing the Master’s Degree in Architecture. Her final project, “Silk-Skin City. A women’s cooperative dedicated to silk craftsmanship”, was awarded the Archiprix International Award, First Prize PFC/TFM COAM and shortlisted for the Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA).
She has been awarded an Arquia Scholarship for her academic record and selected among “the best and brightest graduates” in Spain within the National Architecture Ranking by the Spanish Society for Academic Excellence (SEDEA). She has also been selected among the 35 most influential young architects and engineers in Spain, recognised for her talent, career and ability to transform the environment through innovation, design and social commitment, within the framework of the III edition of “35 under 35” by Madrid Capital Mundial de la Construcción, Ingeniería y Arquitectura (MWCC) and Global Shapers Madrid.
She has worked as an architect, BIM Manager and external collaborator in renowned studios such as Mangado y Asociados, Estudio Álvarez-Sala and Gilbartolome Architects.
Currently, she leads Atelier Martínez Morón and, together with Joan Santiago Blanco LoCoco, founded LoCoco Morón Arquitectos, spaces for research and architectural production where they have developed projects such as “Tablas”, awarded first prize in the competition organised by the City Council of La Unión for the rehabilitation of the former Graduated Schools, and “Aquí hay madera”, which received first prize in the III Social Housing Architecture Competition organised by the Municipal Housing, Land and Equipment Company of Seville.
At the same time, she combines professional practice with teaching, working as a professor of architectural design and drawing at the European University of Madrid, and recently joined the M.A.R.T.E. research group (Microbiology and Regenerative and Techno-Ecological Architecture). She has also been coordinator for the RIBA 2024 validation of the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture and the Master’s Degree in Architecture at the European University of Madrid.
She has been a guest professor at the Catholic University of Temuco, where she led the workshop “Presence. Body, logbook and collection of prototypes” within Workshop FAAD 2024. She has delivered lectures at the European University of Madrid and Andrés Bello University in Santiago (Chile).
She has also participated in international workshops such as “Rebuild Ukraine. Working on Water” as part of the International Architecture Biennale of Rotterdam (IABR), and in architecture competition juries, such as a jury member of the PFC/TFM COAM Awards 2021.
She curated and designed the exhibition “Woven Creativities” within the framework of the RIBA validation for the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture and the Master’s Degree in Architecture at the European University of Madrid.
Her projects have been exhibited in cities such as Madrid, Murcia, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
